Disneyland and Santa Fe's 20 years of sponsorship of Santa Fe & Disneyland RR

Not really an N / Z scale topic, but since most of you know me from our N scale modeling, I'll start this thread here (Moderators, feel free to move it to a more appropriate forum if you wish).

Here is a wonderful 20 minute YouTube video, with tons of good vintage Santa Fe railroad footage, showing the relationship between Walt Disney,  1950's Santa Fe president Fred Gurley, Disneyland, and Santa Fe's 20 years corporate sponsorship of Santa Fe & Disneyland RR:

Very enjoyable and insightful.   I remember as a 10 year old, having the time of my life going to Disneyland for the first time.   Now we'll learn how the Santa Fe railroad was an integral part of the railroad portions of Walt Disney's Disneyland, interesting stories of how the GM Aerotrain has a miniature presence in Disneyland for 15 months in the late 1950s, excellent nostalgic footage.... and how that relationship eventually came to an end after 20 years.   Enjoy!

The video author's YouTube channel has other well-produced videos - I just watched the one on SPSF Southern Pacific - Santa Fe's failed merger - that one was well done also.  There's others: on Auto-Train, on the 1976 American Freedom Train with 4449, and more.

Both of these authors, above is "Alex the Historian", and my first post, "Peter Dibble;, their videos on his YouTube channel are very well done.  I just watch Peter Dibble's video on the 1976 Bicentennial Train, which also has excellent backstory that includes the late 1940’s Freedom Train, Ross Rowland’s High Iron excursions, and more.   All good stuff - thank you, YouTube.  Enjoy!
