D&H N-Scale Help
« on: July 09, 2024, 08:36:15 PM »

Hi!
I am trying to build a list of all of the D&H decorated cars produced. I already have 283 cars, 111 Locomotives, and 35 passenger cars. Here is what I am looking for:
1-Brass models, I do not have any on my list
2-Non-mainstream companies, such as Freight Yard, Squeak-N, etc.
3-Passenger cars
4 and Con-Cor PA/PB-1s, they are a quagmire of numbers

I need the Manufacturer, Part number, type, road number, and scheme.

I will make the list available to those who would like one.

Bruce

The only N scale passenger cars painted for the Delay and hesitate, of which I am aware, are lightweights.

C-C sold the Hill Lines smooth sides.  Various companies sold the Rowa C&O/CB&Q/B&O corrugated side.

If C-C ever sold the RR HWs in D&H, never have I seen them.

https://www.trovestar.com/catalog/4/items?RoadName=135534&Limit=100

Trovestar is a good place to start work on such a list, it's easy enough to filter the database for roadnames, manufacturers, model type, etc. Looks like they have 485 D&H entries so far.

I did a similar exercise for 1950s era CNR boxcars a few years ago, couldn't have done it without this resource.
Because why not...

Kato had a U30C, of which I still have one, left over from converting the rest to BN/GN/NP U33Cs with resin kits.

Bruce,
Send me the list. The D&H is one that I collect and I target pieces that come from small or obscure manufacturers. I will send pics of what I have.

I have looked at Trovestar, Atlas, and many other sites. I have been collecting data for a couple of years, and the items mentioned I cannot find good info on.
