Well.  You could get some roofers and a guy with a hard hat and a clip board up there to size up the project while you're working on your motivation...
Add some ladders, and put a couple of work trucks full of lumber in the parking lot.

The best part is, now you can't "UnSee" it!

I’m gonna toss out the way too obvious nomination for best of designation. Mods please note

The only downside is now you have to bring the rest of your layout up to this standard.  And everything you do next will have to better.  No pressure, though! :D

Thanks for the comments.  The layout (the Central Vermont in Northern California - see:  https://www.cvrailroad.com/) is a pretty amazing effort by a group led by Paul Weiss.  First of all, it is large layout designed specifically for operations.  It is a multi-deck layout in a 30'x40' building with 700 feet of mainline running, with an operating crew of about 22 people.  It has some great modeling, scenery, and painted backdrop.  Still a work in progress, but very impressive.  It is set in May 1956 and all equipment is correct for that date.  All rolling stock is weathered and the operating sessions are based on actual CV 1956 timetables and operating rules.  Operation is by timetable and train orders.

Palmer is the northern terminus of the layout, modeling the Central Vermont's Southern Division between New London, CT and Palmer, MA.

Very, very nice. I worked next door to the prototype for a few years,  and on occasion, would have lunch at the restaurant that now occupies this station. https://www.steamingtender.com/
You've done an amazing job capturing the look and feel of that Richardsonian architecture. Well done!
