What I find odd is how they split the F7 production run into two different batches.

Here was a thing I noticed recently.    https://irctrains.com/collections/n-scale/products/n-5277-cu-ft-boxcars-the-rock-white
I saw the announcements for a new N 5277 Cu. Ft Boxcars - The Rock - White

Normally the lettering on the left side should be ROUTE ROCK on these white cars.
So I started checking around to find other listings at other sites and they all used this image on their listing.
Except, I think it was N Scale supply, which had a correct image that shown the letters.  No idea where they got it from.
So I took a chance and got three, they DO have the lettering.

I've given up on IM. They had some really great products, but after reserving the Chateau Martin (or any road name...I also wanted Bakers Chocolate and/or Bordens) milk cars YEARS ago (I'm guessing over 10) and waiting forever for them to come out (I HEARD a rumor that some did come out at some time), all of the reservations were cancelled by the vendor I ordered them from (a major dealer) because either IM cancelled them or the dealer gave up on them ever coming in. On the IM site, they still list some of the cars as being made, with the note "contact your dealer" but I have never seen one IRL and can't even find one on that auction site. After waiting over 7 years for them, I got nothing. This is when I gave up on IM...log jam or otherwise.

Yes, they cleared the logjam - by eliminating the logs.  Cancel the products and there's nothing to be delayed.

The latest run of reefers comes in cardboard boxes, not jewel cases.  Now that I think of it, so did my last Centralia car.  Oh well.  On the plus side it's smaller packaging, takes up less shelf space!

The Ferromex hoppers they announced a few days ago are very tempting, but I will no longer pre-order from IM. My guess is that they won't show up before 2030.
