Source for 10 wire ribbon cable for signalling

Hi;
Does anyone have a good source for the 10 wire cable for Digitrax signalling and their connectors - in bulk? I need to get 400-500' and don't want to buy it in 15' segments from Digitrax.

Kind regards,

Bill

I'm not sure which signals you want to use, but in a similar scenario, we wanted to find a less expensive way to connect up many BD4N block detection modules around my friend's basement.  Since the BD4N outputs use only five of the 10 pins, I found some six conductor ribbon cable in bulk with the correct pitch.  I then separated the  ribbon cable in between two conductors so that the appropriate pins would be connected when the 10 pin connectors were crimped on.  Using gray ribbon cable instead of individually colored conductors was a huge saving too.  I'm pretty sure I got it all from Digi-Key.

I've gotten several rolls from various suppliers on Amazon. The typical size is 10m (33ft) but here's one that is 100'

Otherwise DigiKey or Mouser is probably the place to look.

Search at DigiKey:

Thanks, that is what I was looking for to connect my SE8cs to my Digitrax signals. I have finally received the inspection approval for my basement and have started construction of my long awaited layout.
