GVT purchases ex SF/D&H PA

Saw this on Railfan and Railroad, and Trains, that Genesee Valley Transportation
recently purchased the ex Santa Fe, ex Delaware and Hudson Alco PA from Doyle McCormack.
GVT plans to move the engine to Scranton and use it in excursion service after getting it operational.
The Pa is currently painted as NKP 190.
My hope is that GVT returns it to D&H Avon blue "warbonnet" although I wouldn't mind if it was
repainted in SF warbonnet. I'm sure most would prefer the latter.
I last saw #18 with sister #16 in Albany, Or. back when they just returned
from Mexico. At that time they were just bare shells with many carbody panels missing.
I look forward to someday seeing it run on it's "home" rails.

This is great.

I haven't followed the PA's since they went down south. It's been quite a while, but IIRC, those 6 axle trucks were vary rare, missing?and needed.

A "western modeler" that also runs NS.
