No love for cattle stuff?

I don't see much love in the N scale 3D printing world for cattle feeding equipment such as silage machinery, tub grinders or feed wagons.

Not even tings like feed bunks, cattle guards or silage pits!

Those look modern to me. No RR has hauled livestock to any extent (or at all!) since ~1980. What would be the motivation?

Some of us model the modern era and that stuff is prevalent in rural areas.  You know the scenery.

what about the HOGX cars that ran on the UP to Los Angeles to Farmer John's plant in Vernon, CA in the mid 90's?

Valid point, tho' HOGX (1989-1995) was an RR industry anomaly.

These are all pretty simple shapes that could be designed in a simple program like tinker cad pretty easily.

I’ve been toying with the idea of buying one the mono 4X printers that anycubic is clearing out right now but how hard is it to learn something like tinker cad?  I’ve got a list of other things that I have searched for on thingyverse and shapeways that don’t exist in n scale. Mostly agricultural related machinery or rural objects. A lot exist in HO but not in N.

I'll hit you up since I have images straight from some of the manufactures with dimensions included.

Fusion360 works good for me, and this guy has a decent set of tutorial videos, and they're really slanted specifically towards drawing models for railway settings:

Tinkercad is not too hard to learn and fun once you get into it.  Do note, you can often "scale" - change the size of a print - during the "slicing" stage.  I have scaled HO scale .stl files to N scale to successfully make cars using a FDM/Ender 3 printer.
