I'm good for a UP FM for local and helper service. The gon I like, but would much prefer the Pennsy original Keystone scheme...
The rest,  too new for my era...

I was there and got to see the GP40-2W... very nice looking locomotive, but why they made me wait this long is beyond me. Would've been nice to have them released closer to the HO version when model trains we're still affordable.

But yes I'm in for four zebras lol.

I know you're sort of our resident expert on these cars.   Can you comment on Build Dates/Eras for the schemes in Atlas' PDF?

The car is a model of the NACC version of the car. When Thrall took over NACC, they changed the weld lines along the body. Trinity bought Thrall in 2001 and changed the body welds again. They also changed the end cages a bit - specifically the rung count. This is what tripped me up on my upgrades.

The ADM car has the NACC logo, so would date back to the 90's. I think the first order was in medium gray where this one should be light gray/white. The car appears in this condition until at least 2007. By 2022, it has been repainted. The molecule logo was in use from the late 70's till 2001. The leaf logo was recently replaced with a single green leaf.

ConAgra Mills is post 2004, but pre-2009 when the company changed its name to ConAgra Foods.

I'm not familiar with FCSX, but the conspicuity stripes dates it post 2004.

FCC one has me stumped. No idea when that was painted.

Grace is post 2004. The car looks pretty beat up by 2009. I believe these dated to the 90's but those stripes pigeon hole the car's era.

KCS dates to the early 90's.

NS is post 2004 due to those stripes.

I recall seeing the Grace and FCC catalyst cars floating around in the early 2000s, so those schemes are probably also good for the late 1990s if you removed the moron-markings.

Thank you.   I was about ready to conclude that the FCC cars would probably work but I still haven't found the smoking gun yet.  I think the Grace cars are probably good too, although maybe not that particular scheme...seems like that marketing tagline would be a later concept.   That's just a semi-educated guess though.   Either way, I'm sure I'll find a way to add a few to the roster.    A spartan NAHX car can probably be made pretty easily too.

I always liked the Walthers cars, so an upgraded version is good news.

If what has been produced by the illustrious @bbussey is accurate, they've been using that tagline for quite some time

OK, good info.   I do see that one on RailcarPhotos.  I clearly never paid attention to the Grace cars before.

And I misread your note before about it being late 90s...I was reading "late 80s".   :facepalm:  I just recently made the change to late 80s/early 90s, and I have found myself accidentally reverting back to when I was always looking for late 90s/early 00s.  It's highly annoying.   :RUEffinKiddingMe:  ;)

There's some Atlas guys like @Atlas Paul on this forum right? If that bulkhead flatcar artwork is representative of what the model will be, the Algoma Central needs some serious artwork revisions. Not sure what they're doing there.

AC 2401-2425 were built new in 1975 for AC by Hawker-Siddeley. They were painted SOLID BLACK with the railway's roadname.

AC 2426-2475 were built in 1975 by H-S for British Columbia Railway with "international service" BCIT markings, dark green body and light green bulkheads. They were acquired secondhand by AC in 1980. These had the British Columbia markings patched out but NEVER had Algoma Central name lettering applied, just reporting marks and numbers.

The flyer artwork looks like they threw both schemes into a blender and spit something out with an original series car number, Algoma Central name lettering, on a light green patch on a darker green body. Not remotely based in reality. That car needs to be black and the patch needs to go.

Thanks Chris.  Where Firefox did not like the security of the link was when I was trying to open it to preview my original post.  Once I hit the post button, Firefox no longer had any issues with the link.
