Cool announcement.   Nice to have the era information...do you provide that info on all of your announcements?   Guess I need to go back and search...I was  recently at a store in the Chicago area and there must have been over a thousand JTC containers on the wall.   I went into vaporlock.

Thank you!!!  I'll have to cheat, and probably reletter, the "early" versions, for my 1974 layout, but the chassis themselves will work fine.

Likewise, "early" here does not reach back to my era (1975). I guess I will also pickup that Transamerica 3 pack and make do.

Nice! Just when I thought I had enough containers...

With a container on it, I doubt that most people will bother to read the chassis reporting marks, if they can get close enough to read them at all.

In my case, I'll reletter several of them for my narrow gauge, which is working to replace as many box/reefers as possible with containers.  Most of the lines general freight is deliveries to backwoods stations and settlements, and arrive by truck anyway.  With containers, they can be loaded in Helena or Missoula, then put on flatcars.

The rest will likely stay as-is, and be used for TOFC service.
