It looks like the Bachmann N Scale SD40-2's will be the earlier versions not the mid. They are due out sometime in 2023, no price mentioned- DCC and Econami sound value. I'm hoping they will be way better than their last attempt  :o . It feels like the SD40-2 market is getting crowded. Sorry for the drift.

:ashat:  Let's hope that Bachmann's new offering doesn't revert to the old blinky (cab roof strobe light) from the 1980s.  I, too, have drifted.

I really want to see am in-depth comparison of the Bachmann, BLI, ST, Kato and IM engines.

The HO Bachmann is a rather odd duck: mid phase radiator grills but no anti-climber and it features a 81" nose. I think that would work for a few Frisco/BN and UP orders?

There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
