Website isn't showing a new batch  :?  Last damaged depot is from 12/4

Oops!  Not the first tie I made that mistake. You know, BLI, BLW, just one letter difference, but a big difference.  I also think that my brain has a mind of its own.  :D

My edu-guess is that these "refurbs" are repairs from shipping damage. Given the large number of available road names they must be semi-remanufacturing a bunch, combining unbroken bits from two or more.

I'm already committed with my dealer for two, but given the extreme discounting here I think I'll pick up two more with the objective of renumbering.

EDIT: Done. This may also explain why the large dealers haven't received their orders - too many damaged to ship in quantity, and they can't sell them refurbs to sell as new. I feel badly for everybody on this.

I might have to get a Santa Fe blue and yellow. Utah Railway bought SF 823 in the 70's and it's now stored at the Ogden Railway Museum as Utah Rail 401.

Well, looking at his profile, he has last visited the forum on Nov. 22. But still, it is a mystery why he no longer posts here.  Did something or someone upset him?  He had some really cool ideas brewing.

What's odd to me is that there are 3 narrowminded users on this forum.  His original one, and also narrowminded2 (created on 2021-02-20, zero posts) and NarrowMindedN (created on 2021-03-02, zero posts). Coincidence?
