Norfolk Southern family tree series at MTL.

Looking for photos of cars we can consider for a Norfolk Southern family tree series.    Like the other series we've done we need cars in the heritage roads scheme and lettering with a strike over and new number from NS.  These would not be any heritage projects using from NS currently being fielded...these are fallen flags remarked and ran for some time.   Any help would be appreciated...

In regards to the CSX family tree series, very nicely executed set !  I was only going to get 2 or 3 of the more modern cars, ended up buying all of them.  Will use the 40' cars in MOW or storage in the yard.

The two most prominent cars would be ex-sou waffle boxcars and ex-sou PS gons. - these are very common in faded/patched out sou markings and ns/sou marks.

Unfortunately MTL doesn't make these cars....

The NW 100T hoppers were mostly turned into TopGons, not remarked.

You did the the SOU airslide fade-outs...

I can't think of any CR patchouts as NS kept the CR mark.

I will look for more!

I assume this is contemporary stuff that you are looking for.

Aside from the Conrail stuff, there really isn't much out there (it's been 40 years since NS was formed!). There is MOW stuff as posted above, but the vast majority of that is in post merger markings.

Personally, I am really swamped with my job (have been all year), but if I get a chance I'll take a look around.
