Advice on LED strip lights

I'm looking to add a string of LEDs along my layout's center divider so the light comes from behind the models. Some guys have used this, but there'a lot of products out there. I', looking for good light (obviously white), with a stickyback to attach right to the masonite. I've seen there are cables, too, but then I'd have to fasten them somehow. Be nice to have at least 12' length of strip. What's the price ranges here?

I got some from EBay...there are hundreds of listings for them there. Any color you want as well (including warm and cool white).

I lit the edge soffit of my train room with LEDs from Superbrightleds.com They have quite the assortment for what ever you might want to do. Technical advise is also available.
