Are they still a going concern?  Anyone order from them recently?  I see it has been awhile since they logged in here.

Funny you mention them - as I was unpacking some toys from our recent move I came across a box with 2 of their kits (RS36).  They shipped to me about 8 months ago, so they were definitely alive and well then.  Their Facebook page is moribund - most recent update that I saw is April 2021.

On the other hand, they have a new web site on shopify: https://briggs-models.myshopify.com/
There are updates there posted by Jeff Briggs (or at least his account) as recently as January 12, 2022.

So it seems to me that they are alive and well!

Oh - those RS36 body kits are absolute jewels.  I need to get to work on them!

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

They got hit by the big C and are on the medn now.  Give them time to catch up.  I am waiting on split window RS27s to be designed.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Still here guys. Just getting our Sh*$ back together again and up to speed.

It seems we have been cursed over the last few years. Heart attacks, divorces, shipping problems, Covid.

Jeff has several new kits he is almost finished, i.e. Baldwins, GP39s and Chessie slugs. These should be available very soon so I will make an announcement here with some photos when they are ready.

As far as shipping goes it appears that we are up to date but if we have left you in the lurch as far as not receiving and order please contact me at chrisd@briggsmanufacturingassociates.com and we will get it figured out.

Kind regards,

Chris

Ooh, Baldwin DS-4-4-1000?  AS-16?  S-12?  You have my attention for some retro LV or Reading projects!

Fwiw I have been extremely happy with all the times I have dealt with Briggs.

My only concern is that I want to spend so much more! And the lazy elves in my workshop don't have them built for me yet!

...GP39s...

Wonder if this is something I'd be interested in, aka the GP30/35 rebuilds BN did in the 90s
