So I removed these from the sprue and painted the shell because it was printed in translucent green resin.

The side view isn't bad. The model scales well with the Bower N5C. The body (minus the elongated porches) is about 12" longer than the N5. I was worried about striations when looking at the translucent shell, but most of this has been mitigated with a nice dose of sandable auto primer.

Here is a more direct comparison to the Bowser car. The windows need to be addressed, these should be rectangles and not arched. I believe this was a printing error. The bolster notches also miss printed on this side, but they should file down nicely. I'm not sure what's going on with the cupola. There is a vertical area under the windows that should not be there. I don't see how to fix that.

Here you can see the porches a bit better. Clearly these will need to be cleaned up a bit, though they do not look nearly as bad in person. If there is a surface that would have striations, this is the best part as it is not going to be as visible due to the long porch. I'll sand down the primer and see how this looks after.

The underframe is basic but gets the job done. One of the steps miss-printed and another detached during extraction. Lots to work on before assembly. Anyone know what the porch was made of? Was it wood, diamond tread?

End view shows that this is a basic model, and will need plenty of sanding.
So there you have it. It's an N8 for sure and I think with enough time, it should looks pretty good.
