many posts have multiple photo. need to know how they do it.

also haven't figure out how to attach photos from my gallery.  I have to use the photo store in my pc

Glad to see a success story!

Once you get the photos to a manageable size, if you go to the FAQ section of this Administrative section, there is a sticky thread on how to upload photos to the forum.  While it seems a bit complex, the write-up is more complex then the actual process, and I probably made it sound more complex than it really is. I'm just that kind of a guy.  :)

I recommend using the gallery instead of directly attaching photos to a post. Attachments seem to disappear sometimes, while the gallery is stable.

My posts usually come out 816 pixels across, unless I've cropped or otherwise altered the picture, for a simple reason.  My camera, a "point and shoot" digital, makes JPG pictures 3264 pixels across.  I reduce them to 25%, which is 816 pixels.  Easy to remember, and my ancient picture-processing program, saved from my last computer, doesn't have any problem doing it.

Good find.  Too bad the photo uploader doesn't show any type of an error.

M=Mega=million
k=kilo=thousand
1MB=1000kB

5000kB=5MB

Since I'm a control freak, I like to manually resize the photos I upload to the forum (I usually make them 1024 pixels across (or smaller).  Good size for viewing on the forum, and it will not make the forum's uploader choke.
That's correct for MiB, a MB is 1024KB...5MB is 5120KB

I was rounding it off to decimal.  :D
BTW, "kilo" is represented by small "k".   :P

I can relate - I troubleshoot Storage Array (SAN and NAS) problems for living.   The 1000 vs. 1024 debate is always in the back of my mind.

I usually use the decimal version when speaking with non-computer-geeks (which is majority of people).  5000 is easier and simpler to deal with than 5120, and the slight inaccuracy is not of any drastic consequence.
