Yeah, that's what happened, I'm confused by the whole thing, but what works is what works!

I double checked the settings through the normal NCE PowerCab process and after resetting to 143, that's where it stayed.

Something doesn't add up, but if it works then we all should just be happy.  But as I and others have mentioned, watch out for the melting tender.
