The club I belong to is looking for what might be the best turnouts to use. I'm looking to see what everyone on here recommends and why.

I'm not sure what scale you're referring to, but, since this thread is in the "HO Scale and Larger" forum, I'll assume HO.  I just started construction of an HO layout less than a year ago after being an N scaler for more than fifteen years.  I really researched the issue and settled on Walthers' Code 83 line, because of availability, cost, and selection (e.g., many different-sized turnouts, including wyes and curved turnouts).  I believe these turnouts are built for Walthers by Shinohara, and the entire line has been revised to be DCC friendly.

After several months of use (including a number of turnouts that I cut up to fit into the track plan), I am very happy with my decision.
