Not for much longer. They are down to just 2 weathering levels left, including new. Seems JCT has another hit on their hands.

I just got two of my VTTX flats the other day. While I am very impressed with the car itself......

I am not impressed with the wheels/trucks from JTC. All of the wheels are out of gauge, like extremely out of gauge and there is a body wobble. The wobble was fixed by adding a single MTL washer. But the wheels and trucks as a whole are a completely different story.

Any comments on the couplers?

They are working well with the MTL couplers from what I have seen so far with mine. The coupler is smaller in size than a MTL but bigger than a Z Scale MTL.

The couplers don't deflect to the side when shoving on straight track the way MTL usually do.  That's a plus.  They definitely look more realistic but still not really prototypical,  mainly because they're still oversize.

One of mine did not roll well and I've yet to figure out why.  A second was doing a weird tilt to the side when going to into the curves, and I figured out it was the trainline hose details having too low and carching the outside rail.    The third one was good, so far as I've looked.  I haven't check the wheel guage but I will soon.

I ran one of these flats on a friend's layout tonight. I put it unloaded right behind the power with 25 cars behind it. Ran great.
Also backed that same train through curves and it didn't derail. Runs great and looks even better, well done JTC!
