The WS house screams New England, Pennsylvania, or northern California coast to me. The Atlas house says Pacific NW. The Imex house says Minnesota or North Dakota or the suburbs of Maryland.
Umm, I don't think it's as much the locale per se as the time period this type of construction/architecture was in vogue. I'd put the WS house into the 1870's/'80's, whereas the other houses are newer, early 20th century or later...So IMHO the design and construction practices would depend more on the time and era a community developed than necessarily its location. (Of course, there are communities with their unique architectural styles, but these generic examples don't fit that model). IMHO, of course...
