Hi.
I need decals fo my new BLI M-1-A Steam loco.
Is Micro Scale's 60-66 the right one?
Thanks
Rick

from the microscale instruction sheet:
that would be correct
and
60-1166 N Scale - Pennsylvania Railroad Steam Locomotives (1948)
would also be correct
the instruction sheet diagram includes the M1a (2nd page)
if there is a nuance that would make one or the other not correct
someone more knowledgeable of PRR schemes will have to indicate
is there a particular prototype you are modeling?
sincerely

I tend to side with the 60-1166 set, as it has a softer "duluxe" color instead of the bolder "gold" of the 60-66 set.
Getting Microscale to do a proper "buff" colored PRR lettering was a crusade of mine back in the day, but it never happened.

Thanks fro the help guys.
No Gary, there is nothing particular I am modeling.
I just want it to pull a bunch of Micro Train heavyweight passenger cars.
Thanks again.

To be picky, your passenger cars would more likely be pulled by a K4 (made by Bachmann).

I have a K4 already but the grades on the layout won't allow for a longer train. I'm not a prototype kind of operator. I like to run longer trains so the M1A will give me the extra pulling power. I have a lot of cars so I can run both locos.
Thanks

Technically they were intended for dual service, right?

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."
