three of us, from SWARMTrak, met at David's home Sunday afternoon. David graciously offered the space in his very nice, well lighted 2 car garage for setting up our T-TRAK modules and running trains. James David Ezekiel, Joshua Murrah, and myself, Bruce Arbo, contributed enough modules to create a 'C' type layout measuring 14'x10'...because all of our modules are built to exacting T-TRAK standard, it took a mere 15 minuted from the time that the tables were set in their place, until trains were running on the layout! Of course, a lot of this also can be attributed to the work Joshua Murrah has done to build and provide a first rate power supply that can cater to just about any setup; it's a simple matter of 'plug-n-play'. All-in-all, a very nice 3-1/2 hours spent in good fellowship and great conversation with like-minded friends and hobbyists-the 3-1/2 hours flew by! A special thanks to James David Ezekiel for graciously opening up his home to us, and to Joshua Murrah, for taking the time to program my few Decoder equipped locos into the SWARMTrak wifi network!

Bruce, very nice, great idea to just meet and run trains.  Nice looking modules, sounds like a great time was had by all.  Another advantage of T-trak 15 minutes to set up and start running.  One of these days I will remember to take some pictures of our modules and post them.  later, craig

finally finished (I think) with two of the three buildings that will be featured on an upcoming T-TRAK module; a lonely desert highway crossroads, with the fictional name of "Two Guns". One of the structures is the 'Two Guns Gas n Go', from Showcase Miniatures, and the other is the 'Yard/HiWay Cafe' form Blair Line. The Third structure will be the 'Sunset Motel', also from Blair Line.
Both of these structures were fun to build; I altered the Two Guns service station slightly by adding two 'six shooters' on the portico roof, but the 'HiWay Cafe' was built strictly OOB, with the exception of adding 'Mr surfacer 500' to create a seamless stucco effect and leaving off the wood cornice features...
