Rodney, so 5mos later what do you think of it? I've been able to find the same model on ebay now around ~$250 shipped and have been thinking of picking one up.

I've seen a few people on the web say after a few months since they wouldn't get one but I figured I'd ask someone in the same hobby what they thought.

I understand you get what you pay for, but the Versalaser  at $3000 is just not in the cards right now.

 I would still buy it. There is so much you can do with it in N scale that I really think it is worth it to have it.
