I, my personal opinion of course, is that this is a major loss of ""smarts" by somebody or group in Athearn. This screw up will do one of two things for Athearn. They will fold up on n scale releases or they will wake up to the fact that the customer base will pay higher prices for something that deserves it, but will not accept msrp's on an old worn out piece of c _ _ p such as these re-hashed, upgrade ? ?, units that were sold several years ago well before other manufacturers started building much better tankcars. This just proves to me that Athearn cares little about n scale money and in fact will not see any from me until they can do something new in a timely manner, like an SP MT4.
