Looks like the Erie Lack, Erie Lack variants, Conrail and WM 14 panel hoppers have hit the shelves. Also the B&LE, B&A, DT&I, I&A, OL&B, BM and CG

http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/N-Scale-3-Bay-Open-Hopper-Cars-s/1764.htm

WM has already sold out! WOW.

As always not affiliated, just getting the info out there!

They look like terrific cars.

MBK is starting to irritate me with how fast stuff flies off their shelves. Truly if you snooze you lose on some new products.

You would think that if Ted would just cough up some money to install advance ordering on the website, MBK would sell that many more products.  But noooo... We have to lurk.  That's why I started ordering from the left coast.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

I'm going to offer counterpoint. Advanced Ordering sucks for the LHS/WWW storefront. It's a quagmire of stolen/expired credit cards, sitting on stock that may not move, or returned if the model is a complete failure. You do have to consider that most manufacturers offer a window for the LHS to order before it goes to production (otherwise the manufacturer will under/over produce). The LHS will have to manage pre-orders after the manufacturer order window has closed, resulting in the LHS holding the bag if their order to the manufacturer was under the total of preorders+regular stock they purchased. Add, that some models get big delays and then the LHS/WWW is sitting on funds that aren't liquid.  Compound that with paying someone to manage it when it $4!+ hits the fan.

MBK/MTS does offer Advanced Product Notifications, input your name, email, telephone and the product number/description and you get an email notification when its posted to the site. How do you think I knew about them to post here? ;) When the product sells out, you do have the option to "notify when in stock" and receive a update when they replenish. Both have worked for me since the inception of the modern website when those features were added. I've only missed one item as the result of them revamping the Advanced Notification portion of the website.

Also you have to note that unless its a big release like the K4, MTS/MBK puts up a half-dozen to a dozen at a time, then restocks on the quick selling items a few days to a week later.

Not a problem, Walthers has the WM cars in stock and when Walthers has them, that means your favorite hobby shop can get them. Here at Bluford World Headquarters, we're down to 2 singles and a 3-pack but Western Maryland is the exception and not the rule. Our in stock list starts here: http://www.bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_011.htm

Was just at my LHS today to pick up MT Halloween car for this year and the WM cars were mentioned.  They don't have them yet, but said they told their distributor to give them all they had  :D

Was hoping more NS stuff would be in this release; not sure when the NS offsets are supposed to roll.

We have a big batch of cabooses leaving the factory this week and the NS offset side hoppers are in the group after that. No shipping slot set yet for that group of hoppers, but they're working on them now...

While I’m pretty much a devoted modern guy, I just could not resist these D&H former Erie Lackawana cars
