Good point Rick - the lock feature is even better, and plenty of decoders are implementing it now (I think you can add zimo to the list that support it). I haven't set up a multi-decoder loco since the lock feature became generally available.

I was aware of TCS implementation of decoder-lock CV15-16 but I thought it was something only TCS did (not a NMRA standard). It is good to know that it is a defined standard and the other manufacturers are supporting this (even if they don't document it).
