Penn Central Passenger Green

Hey everyone, can someone help me with the color on PC passenger cars?  Centralia has two PC head end cars and a sleeper due summer I believe.  Compared to the Kato set the Centralia cars are several shades darker. Yes, it is hard to really know what color anything PC was painted, but is the Kato or Centralia cars closer?  I personally like the darker cars better, but I would like to have an idea of which is closer.  Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I defer to Bryan who may have better info, but....

PC Freight cars were painted "Deepwater Green"  - the classic medium green,  slightly jadish color associated with PC.

Passenger cars were painted a color the RR called "Hunter Green" - but it was NOT the same Hunter Green used by the NH.

It would best be described as something like a lighter hunter green.  There is no commercial paint and I've never really
seen it reproduced as I personally remember it, although the Kato PC cars were close, but too light.

How about Model Master acrylic RLM83 Lichtgrun.

The Centrailia cars are the better color representation, and the designation is PC Hunter Green as Lou stated. I don't know if there is an existing hobby paint in the proper color. It would be best to check with the PCHS to see what the exact formulation is and how to mix it from existing model railroad paints.
