Not from this weekend but I did make it to Portola last weekend and spent the afternoon at the WP Museum.  Wandered around for an hour or so and got some pics of stuff around the property.  I'll post a few later when I can get them uploaded.  I did note the Z scale WP demo layout was still there and operating.

This weekend was recovering from the flight back from the West Coast and the air show/ship visits in B'more.  Went aboard the Brit FFG and noted our Canadian brethren were well represented with the CF-188 Demo, looked like a Halifax FFG, and the pilot of the USCG demo HH-65.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Hey! I was there! I live right by the fort.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Glad to see the Snowbirds were down there - still one heck of a demo team....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Not Snowbirds, just the Hornet single ship demo.

I have seen the Snowbirds a few times though.  Good show.  The Red Arrows and Russian teams, they have like 4, are the few I haven't seen.
Best show so far is a toss up between Thunderchickens or Blue Impulse (JASDF)

Chris, what are the radius of the curves on that layout? Does that Erie 0-8-0 negotiate those curves?

7"R. The 0-8-0 should work if I lengthen the drawbar a hair.

Since I already have E8As 4020, 4021 & 4022 along with Big Dome 55 in hand ... with CR 11 coming from Rapido, maybe it will inspire me to finish these three.

Top to bottom — CR 9, CR 12 and CR 10 respectively.  I need to get them done.  Too many lingering half-finished projects.

What cars do these represent?
