Hey James, have you considered making a set of railings for Piperguy's AS616? With your Commonwealth trucks and a set of brass handrails, I might consider pulling the trigger on a couple of AS616 conversions.

Hi All,

Just an update, the brass Additions for the DT6-6-2000 should be posted out this coming week, the last of the first run of has been reserved but I can always get more done if anybody still wants some.

James,

Are the handrails of the RT624 the same? In that case I would be interested (if you're also working on that engine  :)).

Hi Marc,

The rails for the RT-624 are a little bit different to the DT6-6-2000, and there will also an etched detail for the antana in the top.

Perfect, I'll wait for that etching.

I also created an etched brass set of handrails for this locomotive, the huge EMD DD35, and I am pleased with it so far......

This one is not quite done yet but it is almost there and those rails look fab!

Oo oo oo! James, you are the man. The handrails on the DD35 look great! I think you know this is the main hangup on finishing mine. Let us know when you're ready!
