I'd go with 2 of those new baggage cars Joe promised, an RPO, and an REA reefer.  1 set would give you the head end for the average intercity train, 2 sets and throw a coach on the end as a rider car, and you have a realistic mail train.

How about anything with an incomplete rd#, and a small decal sheet for the modeler to complete. Just leaving off one digit would create
10 rd# possibilities. Only need 2x 0-9 for sides and 2x 0-9 for ends to complete. ( omitting 2 digit's would create 100 rd# possibilities.)

Not that this is totally related or unrelated, but I'd like to see Bowser re-run the GLa hoppers, but in 10-packs.

A runner pack of the Conrail ballast hoppers would be cool. Or Conrail 50' gondolas, Conrail guys can never have too many gondolas. Any of the autoparts cars would be good too.

Meh, I'd rather not have the gons. They're not really that accurate length-wise and don't approximate cars that represent the majority of the con-gon fleet. There are other CR cars I'd much rather see (like the ortners or 60' autoparts cars).

Or 100-ton coal hoppers.

100-ton coal hoppers, really, in any road name or 60' auto parts boxcars for CR,

Phil

True.  That is the prime model MTL has that they should be using to pimp out eight-car runner-packs up the wazoo.

And I don't mean to nitpick, but MTL, please refer to ESM or Atlas boxcars for a correct Conrail Freight Car Red, please!!!!! :)

What MTL needs to do in the gondola area is a new, 52' and a 65' gon from the 70's era....

How about a pack of four of these:

(I notice the doors are different from MTL's PS-2's....    what is the explanation here?)
