You could have a NYC RPO on a P&LE passenger train, so I guess that I will buy this one, as well.

I guess that means the NYC parlor is finally coming, sometime this year.  No word on the long-promised New Haven cars though.

Thankfully not a foobie, except for possibly being painted in TTG.  The NYCS had the largest fleet of this type of mail car, quite a few with four wheel trucks (B&A and CCC&StL) but all were rebuilt to a four windowed side well before they started using the TTG.

Which of the available MTL heavyweights will be correct in TTG?

None!
Now if they had done a single window coach, the answer would be different.

Aside from the parlor car there's only the Plan 3410/3410A 12 Section - 1 Drawing room sleeper... see the NYC page @ the N-scale Varnish User's Guide.

NYC also had Pullman 3585A 10-1-2s such as:
Lake Scott ATP 1925-1960 (I have a photo of it in Toronto, Canada but with no date in Pullman Grn)
Lake  Russell ATP 1925-1964
Lake RonKonKoma ATP 1925-1960
Lake Pigeon ATP 1925-1961

I bet more than one of these ended up in TTG.

Back to work!!
