Con Cor shell/Kato mech

Hi there,

Has someone tried to put a Con Cor PB1 shell on a Kato PB1 mech?
The reason I'm asking is, I have a Con Cor PA1 (motor) - PB1 (dummy) - PA1 (dummy) Erie Lackawanna set and it does not run very good.
It is almost impossible to find the Kato EL's - and if so only for a very high price - but I might be able to get a Kato PB1 mech.
So if the shell switch would work I would de-motorize the PA1 and would have the PB1 to do the work.

By the way, the other dummy will get a camera one day...  :D

They fit like they were made for each other.
