This is a collection of amazing talents! Tom did much of the weathering and detailing seen on the rolling stock. The dioramas were created by John Cubbin. Jurg who owns these amazing trains and scenes has become a top notch photographer over the past years. He photos are amazing and rival what I have seen in the main stream model railroad magazines. He really shows the potential of Z!

The Z scale train models are very well done, but it is really the fine scenery that makes the scenes so realistic.  Even so, without being told or without seeing some telltale clues (like the coupler size, or the flat handrail etchings), one woudl be hard pressed to guess the true scale of these,
. . . 42 . . .

Sent this on to my HO buddy, his reply was this layout (or is it a modular unit - in one shot the sky looks too perfect) looks better than many he has seen in HO.
Hind sight is always better than foresight, except for lost opportunity costs.

This stuff would give Ken Patterson a run for the money, I always admire the work we see here in N and Z as it takes a lot of artistry, craftsmanship and innovation to achieve these great results I have a little bit of HO but I really enjoy working in the small scales more, at first it was hard to get used to working with the smaller stuff but as you develop the skills it is fun and challenging which makes the hobby for me all that much more enjoyable. As far as photos go I have to say having the real sky in the picture puts the modeling over the top!

The 2 Milwaukee Road PS2-cd covered hoppers are photo-etched stainless steel models from FR in Germany. We released them as a Ztrack Magazine Subscriber special car. The NAHX patch was offered weathered. We also offered a straight unweathered MILW version. The NAHX is still one of my favorite cars that we released for subscribers!
