ER Wafflesides On Sale

Just a friendly post to point out that the ER Waffleside Box Cars are on sale at the OLD price of 19.95 at their website.

These seemed to go up to $28 at some point - that was the point I decided I could live without anymore. But I just placed an order for a bunch at the old price....

Geez. Resisting... resisting... resisting... oops... too late.  :D

These are 1 year newer than my target era, so I had been... uhhhh... "waffling" about whether to get a couple. However, the SOU version with the "brake wheel" opener was such a unique memory from my railfanning back then, so I succumbed.

In case google goes down.

Ha ha. In truth, the ER site was molasses-slow when I ordered.

Remove the waffles and you have an earlier 5277... can opener and all.

Around here it's soggy Eggo waffles with turkey and gravy and mashed potatoes obtained from the local fire company. Good eatin'!
