Hi
The other thread is getting a bit long, so simply, here she is, finished.  A special thanks to Steve4Painting for his great painting, decals and weathering. My new airbrush will arrive soon, so I'll have to lift my game to match his work.  Now it's finished I must get on to complete several other Alco projects.

Cheers
Steve

Great song Freight Train, one of my favourites from long ago.  Is your question #69?  ;)

Great model! Just one question... how many TRW members did you have to burglarize to get that Sunrise beacon?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

That is a great looking loco. The dirty roof looks very realistic. Just enough grime, but not over the top. Things went downhill after they were purchased by Itel in 1978 with regards to the cleanliness of their equipment. The typical story of cutting labor costs. This was a very interesting line, and remains on my list of railroads I would love to model.

Here is one of my favorite shots from my collection of the very classy red and gray scheme.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Daniel, I still have a couple of them stashed away, had them for a few years.  I need one more for a High Hood C&NW C-628.  Yes, another Alco!

I occasionally find collections of old parts on Ebay.  That's where I scored the plastic winter windows earlier this year.
Just search N-Scale Parts.

Thanks guys for the kind words.
Cheers

Stunning, that's all that I can say. Great job on this Alco.

I'm a "closet" Arkansas and Missouri fan, so seeing a nice Alco is always a treat, and your model looks outstanding.

Fred, I had some old Northeast decals, but not enough to do a complete engine, so Steve made them.  I do have some left over, but only the frame "squares" and cab logos, no more lettering.  PM me if you want what I have.
Cheers
