Everybody who now owns Kato's SSZ passenger train set with E-5 diesel or just any of the Kato E-5 diesels needs to look at the wonderful photo on page 7 of the latest December Trains Magazine. It is a nearly overhead front on view of the Illinois Railway Museum E-5 "Silver Pilot" and the Nebraska Zephyr trainset on the B.N.SF. mainline. Now set your Kato E-5 on the tracks and look at it from the same angle. The issue of the nose shape is clearly resolved. Kato's model looks "Dead On" to me.
