Willmodels is working on a HEMMT. GHQ has an M1A1. Roco/Herpa produce an M109 and M112, though both are pretty old now.Still no accurate Hummer.
The M978 project is currently on hold due to some production challenges. Since this model was done primarily for a client, all the molds and masters were turned over him. I still have many parts and tooling for it so (I believe) it is possible to revive the project if there is enough interest.
well damnit.
That willys is great. That's what I'm talking about. Where do I get one?
Carter, I think Dimitri was involved with MZZ at some point wasn't he? I know the Dmented and MZZ models are based on the same tooling as the parts match up perfectly. I have the unpainted model which was only a few dollars. It is an excellent model.
Hobby Search has these available:http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10174375At 1/144 they are 10 percent over size, but they do look nice.Carter
I know it's old...but $25 for a single hummer?!?!I have a ton of the 1/144 Dragon models tanks and what not, when I was stationed in Okinawa, the BX/PX had decent stock of these, and I bought probably close to 50 some vehicles between M1s, M2s, M109s, M113s, MRLS.I measured the M1 with an N scale ruler, and looks to only be about a foot too wide, and maybe 1.5ft too long. And as a flatcar load...its good enough for me.But I'd like to see some hummers and HEMMT...along with some general purpose trucks...like a duece and half...well modern ish...Also like to see some of the various versions of the hummer too.
