Thanks.
The article was so large, that Pam broke it in two.
Next issue will have the rest- about 4-6 pages.

You can look at the chart and see which ones I have left (like Tomix).

Good to see you guys in the mag. I wish I had better luck getting published again.  :|

Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I agree that Ron's article on track cleaning cars is very informative - at least the first half. Would have preferred the second half in the same issue.
I have the Atlas/Tomix track cleaning car and find it very useful. Also run a car with a magnet underneath. Be careful with a magnet, it could
throw any Unitrack turnouts you may have and could cause a major pileup.(speaking from experience).

I arrived home to this issue, and it will make a good read sometime this week.

Ron, no worries about length - I'd rather have 2 parts then no parts.

I just read the article today. You covered some obscure cars I never heard of before. It is good to know they exist even if I have no plans on purchasing them.

It was enlightening reading your review of the Micro Trains car. I don't own one and I don't think it is worth the money. IMO it is poorly executed for something that costs that much.  I also suspected that a spinning felt pad wouldn't be very effective in cleaning the track (and you confirmed my suspicions that it would get "fuzzy" after a while, probably leaving felt fibers all over the track). I suspect it is not any more effective than one of the roller-equipped cars costing much less money.

Your article photos were excellent. I also chuckled about your family's response the the sound of the vacuum car.  Good job Ron!  :D

Thanks Peteski
I wasn't making that up.

The cat hopped off the couch and ran out of the room (my layout is in the family room).

My wife said something like,  "Ronnie, whatever you're doing over there, would you please do it later."

My daughter then said something like,  "I think I might be getting a migraine from that, daddy."

I thought- somehow, this has to go in the article.

LOL! Sounds like that car works as a human version of those electronic ultrasonic pest repellents!  :D  It was an excellent idea to add some (factual) humor into the article.  You never know, maybe it'll save (or help to dissolve) someones marriage!

EDIT: Ron, I just noticed something you mentioned about the Fleischmann's cleaner locomotive. You state "...the cantilever goes to the front".  Did you possibly mean "pantograph"?  If yes, how did that become a "cantilever"?  Or is there a "cantilever" somewhere on that loco?  ;)
