Hello! Has anyone on here ever changed sideframes on a Kato GP35 to the Alco/GE type (like the Ann Arbor units had). If so, what did you use? Are there any sideframes which fit right on, or was the whole truck changed out? Thanks! Eric

Yes - Atlas ones with a small bit of modification to the axle end point seats will work well. I made a GM&O unit a few years ago.

Are the Atlas sideframes the same for all of the Alco's, or does it take a specific set?

They should all be the same, just make sure you use the Roller Bearing ones, instead of the ones with Friction bearing boxes.
It's a simple adjust to fit once you have them.
