I thought I would ask here as others may be interested.  I just noticed on your website under cabooses that you have a "MILW Bay Window Transfer Caboose" listed as a upcoming product.  I am familiar with the terminal cabooses made from tender frames, but I do not believe they have a bay window.

Would this be a wooden cupola type rebuilt with a bay window?

Where are you seeing the photo?  When I looked it said that the photo wasn't available.

If you are looking at a transfer type cab with a baywindow then it likely is the UP CA11M shot... which is a road caboose not a transfer cab.

Yep, no photo, just a description "MILW Bay Window Transfer Caboose", hence, the request for a clarification as to what this would be.  I would like a MR transfer caboose appropriate for the mid to late 1950's.

My plan was to modify a MT wooden caboose into something like a MR wooden caboose with the cupola removed.

In the menu on the website go to the "caboose - transfer" and scroll down.

No, I think Tom's talking about the reference to the MILW bay window transfer caboose on the Transfer Caboose page between the N&W and GM&O notices. I'm curious about that one too.

If Tom doesn't mind I'd like to add to the query... I'm wondering if the Jones & Laughlin tank and WP caboose are still in the works, and if either of the liquid argon tank cars is a pre-1970 design (and, if so, is it still in the works)?

MILW Transfers will be the 50ft Long Transfer Caboose built by International Car in 1974 and carried Rd#'s 992298 and 992299. Like the N-9, it had a grated floor, but had bay windows. It we used for rotary dump coal drags. Here is some MILW Caboose class info:

Section 1 Class C cabooses, Limited to Terminal/Transfer service
990001-990035, 990050-99076, 991602-991608, 991733-991771

Section 2 Class B cabooses, Limited to Branch Line and Patrol service. Equipped with Conventional Underframe. No Radio, except as noted.
991800-992061

Section 3 Class A cabooses, For Main Line and Transcontinental Service. Equipped with Cushion Underframe and Radio. (Not all Washington State Equipped)
992019, 992020, 992025, 992028, 992030, 992034, 992035, 992037, 992039, 992040, 992056, 992057, 992062-992229

Section 4 Class D cabooses, Designated for special service.
992298-992301

992298 & 992299 Gascoyne-Big Stone Coal trains

Tank cars are being looked at by Sylvan to producing the castings. WP, is on the long list.
