Does anyone know where one can find actual drawings of the car? I've never been able to find any.

Perhaps I should be more specific... Does anyone know where I can find published and accessible drawings?

Mainline Modeler had drawings of the low side car back in 1981-1982. The high side car may be there as well.

Okay, lookin' in the Railpub database... I see a two-part article in MM in March and April 1995, but there is no drawing icon. Another two-parter in November and December '94, but again no drawing icon. There's "Pullman-Standard Covered Hopper: For grain shipping" in the December 1983 issue, it has drawings, but there's no indication of it being about any version of the 4427 for sure. Is this the article you're referring to? Anyone got the issue to see if it's worth me tracking down a 20+ year old issue of an out-of-print mag?

March '95 MM has the drawings. April has some more pictures.

The low side drawing is in the 11/94 issue, with roster.

I'll have to go dig  up the other issue of MM at my club. Looks like that will be good info...

Wow, the database is off. It doesn't indicate drawings at all. Argh.

Joe,

I'm really looking for the low-side version (just to be clear, the version MT's not doing) but I'd like both if possible. If you can scan them for me, it would be a huge favor. Contact me off-list if we can make arrangements.
