St Denis this past week.  First up, CSX K-9 unit.  I did not know they even had such a unit.  CSX officer Jim Finnigan was passing out pamphlets to the railfans.


Yesterday I spotted 2 CSX ex-Conrail still in Conrail paint:
8803 on the Rock Runner which ran both ways while I was there.  This train uses some of the older units on CSX.



Here is the other unit.

Yeah, I know Charlie.  He was at St Denis yesterday.  Not working but railfanning.  Jim Finnigan was the K-9 unit and he was passing out the stuff last Saturday.  I normally try and get 1 day a week to go over there and relax with the other foamers and generally have a good time.  Know you've been there but haven't seen you yet.

Ugh, I like NSPD's decals better on their cruisers.  BMRRPD has unmarkeds, but I have a cool idea on how they could look all marked up.

Nah, it's named Chessie.

BTW, I saw an ex-Conrail still in Conrail paint engine yesterday in Brewton, Alabama. I only had a malfunctioning cell phone camera so no pic.
