Looks like they'll be in Timonium the end of January.  Might be a reason to go . . . . especially if they aren't selling on the web by then.

I bought the AYA Wildwood house (the white one on the left) at last year's Trainfest and it was a great kit to build.  I'll have to check out the new one on the right.

They were sold out when I went to their booth but one will be in the mail to me when they get back home. Glad to know it was great to build as I like projects like this. It should look right at home on one of my modules.

Excellent report!

I really like the looks of the EL stuff...not that I have any use for it now, but it is cool!

That's what I was going for Mike.  While the intercity cars were very common in the format that's been done (and done and done and done) us East Coasters are pining for those good old Reading/CNJ/WM (et al) dull old work a day commuter cars.  Alas, Talent, OR is a long way from Hillen or Hoboken!

AMEN!!!!

So, in conclusion, the "Dash-2 Project" was a hoax?

Don't know if I'd say that....

So what sort of gauntlet do we need to run to get to the bottom of this?

IMO, if it's IM, then the -2 "project" is a hoax.

Oh brother. I knew it chuck made himself up a sign and pulled a fast one. He even had to hide his face so we wouldn;t think it was him! Maybe the  -2 is a reference to the 2 Bay area football teams who don;t appear to be going anywhere this season.. ;D

Just got back to Talent where the air is thinner than Milwaukee...good to be home :o)  It was great, again to meet almost everyone face to face (and you know who you are!) and get great feed back.  I was hoping to have all the parts of the Heavyweights with me, but we could get the tooling set up in time.  Wanted the modular groups to have them to run during the show.  Thanks for the support and suggestions, it makes designing this stuff so much easier.  Right now I am working on 4 new designs yet to be fixed with a budget...all depending on sales of the first four.  Hopefully by the NMRA show in the summer or next Trainfest, I'll have a few more PS cars to look at.  Great show, great report and a good time.

Cheers

I hate to give a bad prediction of where the dash 2 project originates but...

was a certain company from BC there?

Hmmm... could get a real -2 for about the same price if you're on the money.
