I cant wait for these cars. I have a bunch of them in HO and I am eagerly awaiting the N ones. The EasyPeasy lighting looks really good in the HO cars. Gives you that nice florescent bulb tinge look.

$48.00 USD for a coach!!!!!  I'm glad I got my Concors when I did.  I have just decided that my inventory of cars and engines has seen a marked increased in value.  My goal now is to hit every flea market and garage sale I can to load up on $2 and $5 USD cars so I can resale them to augment my unemployment [thanks Barack!].  I once got 19 Atlas PRR passenger cars for $35.00 USD.  But that was the old economy, this is the new one.  How does 120 Atlas 90 ton hoppers with MT trucks /couplers and Lopro wheels for $20.00 USD each sound?  For the purists among us I kept the pizza cutters and will remount them for you instead of the Lo Pros.  That's $8.00 USD extra per car.  Another $5.00 USD will get you both wheelsets.  Throw in the Accumate trucks and coupler for another $10.00 USD.  I also have a bridge that I can sell you.  Could be a real money maker, all you need to do is set up toll booths.  I can sell you those too.  Of course you have to find a way to ship them from the PA Turnpike.

The price of $ 47.99 is a Canadian dollar MSRP at LHS's and websites like Credit Valley Railway so that's a good 10-13% off right there....that would make them around the price of Centraila and IM.....I think.....

I'm really hoping that, based on the HO cars that I've seen and the samples of the N scale that Rapido will be markedly better than Con Cor; but we will have to wait and see......

Regardless; I am looking forward to seeing these cars !

"They're here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Picked up two CN "noodle" coaches and two duplex sleepers this monring.... first glance says "wow".... underside detail is unreal; paint and lettering is fantastic (the car number blocks in the windows are microscopic) The windows are nice, well silvered frames with the window blinds with the bar - very nice....The end gates and car numbers on the inner door is great too.....

Haven't run one yet, not taken it apart but I am initially impressed..... at $ 47.95 Canadian these are "off the shelf" a better car than the IM's and Walthers I have paid a similar price for....I'll test them to night when I get home.

Ok; closer inspection of both the coach and duplex sleeper confirm my inital reports - these are excellent models. The ride is outstanding with the metal whel rolling freely and the ride height being, IMHO just right (other will undoubtably have their own opinion)

The paint match between the two cars is excellent - being the pre press nerd I am I used a photo spectrometer to measure the delta error between the grey on the two colour (that was a lunch time activity) - the measurement device found a 0.021 average colour shift between the two cars - five readings of each - that's less than a delta one error... outstanding - we can't print that well.

The batteries for the "easy peasy" lighting install looks simple and the instructions are simple - that will happen sometime soon. The metal gates on the car ends on the sleepers are even the gunmetal blue of the prototype... cool...............The hand applied hand grabs on the roof look good as does the rest of the roof details... as stated before the underside is like no other n scale passenger car I own.... even the toliet relief holes... yesh..........

Car rides and runs well; pictures will be forth coming but I am a very happy owner at this early stage....

Nice, hell if the paint stays on they'll be better than the old Con-cor cars. I sold my set of flaky paint SP cars years ago.

I picked one up at CVR today. WOW! They are something else. The details are fantastic and I can't get over the gates at the vestibules... so very thin. Looks like Rapido hit this one out of the park on the first swing.
