Hmm... maybe too much white and not enough pink on the Z scale one?  More splotchy less patchy? 

Butch's looks pretty close to the proto photos.

Looks good over all. I feel too muh brown on the cab. Also the grills under the DB wings are still missing some weathering. I'm talking about the grills in thedoors themselves.

The frame and trucks are great.  ;)

Agreed re: grilles, also for the grilles behind the cab.  The fading on the cab seems a bit stark, on the proto photo the splotched areas have more of a pinkish look rather than gray (the gray looks more like fire damage to my eye).  Perhaps also a bit more black on the exhaust stack, and on the forward half of the roof:

Do the ditch lights operate on these?  The prototype actually has the lo-mount ditch lights.

Looks like BNSF is finally getting around to repainting more of these in H2 and Swoosh.

Yes, it is a AZL brass engine.  Pretty nice runner.
