Something blue in Arbutus...  Anyone got any information on that?  It's not far from where I used to hang out watching G's as a kid...  Looks pretty photographable.

that's the former Washington Aluminum Company - Fan Division.  they made fan blades for industrial applications, such as the cooling fans in the GE P42 Genesis locomotive.  the owner used to work for UP and that's a former UP caboose.  the caboose was the site of the mass layoffs when the company closed in 2002.  the fan division was bought out and i'm not sure who is using the building now.  the caboose is still owned by the former owner.

3 months to closing, i interviewed as an IT guy to work at this location and their Waynesburg, PA site.  they decided to not hire me since i guess they knew they were closing because they job went unfilled into the closing.
