New Announcements/Products

For those of you who don't read the Atlas Forum, there are some new things announced today.  Wheels-Of-Time has a new batch of Harrimans and head end equipment.  The IC and ACL baggage cars would be appropriate on just about any passenger train.  Also Bluford Shops has some photos of their B&M and Southern painted cabooses.

I took a look... EVERYTHING is sold out except for the Sierra Railroad Harriman coach.
Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

You looked in the wrong place.

I'm glad people are getting these.  I'm still wish Rock Island cars they did weren't such foobies, they looked really nice. Hopefully these cars are at least close to some prototype.

You could write $TBD for the amount on the check, I'm thinking that would work.

Of course, you would have to spell it out, too...  "Tee Bee Dee and no/100"

That CN Baggage car isn't fair...........it just isn't fair..............I'm going to have to work at Wal Mart on Sunday evenings; take that a third mortgage and probable sell my wife's jewelry if this plethora of passenger cars continues.... it never rains but it pours................ ( yippee)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I just looked again at the website link Jason posted. The new cars are no longer there... just the old, sold-out cars.

They were there yesterday. Perhaps a premature posting.

Just what I thought, someone jumped the gun.  I'm considering a Lackawanna baggage car. Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed that Wheels of Time posted a week early, since all the new stuff said reservations taken beginning July 17th. Probably started getting a bunch of reservations, since folks seem to have forgotten to read the whole thing before acting, or think instructions don't apply to them.

I just called Matt. He noted that his webmaster got a little ahead of himself yesterday. He was planning to announce them at the NMRA next week.

I've hidden them on my website until he officially announces them.

NscaleKits says they will have a new announcement at the NTS...

Of course BLMA is announcing their first freight car - rumor is that it is a modern cryo reefer.

My prediction is the Kato GEVO DC and Atlas C40-8W (no brainer). Someone who actually has a reason to know this stuff has told me that both of these are correct guesses. I am not convinced, but we will see...
