Got a shipping notice Tuesday that the Fox Valley metal wheels are on the way from my favorite hobby shop. Its been a long wait for the re-stock and I look forward to the task of changing the first 100 cars, but from what I have heard and read it will be well worth it.

Dumb question.  Are the both wheels blackened?  Some photos posted show one bright brass in color and the other darkened.  Thanks.

Yes they are both blackened. Those were just first mock ups to show that they were metal, not plastic.
