Good news from Bar Mills

It's a little old, but I noticed in the new Walthers catalog that Bar Mills is reissuing Banks Ice House, and the Idaho Hotel, as well as offering Wicked Wanda's in N scale. So, I checked the Bar Mills website and sure enough, Art Fahie does plan to rerun them and keep them in stock! I need Banks Ice House myself and missed it last time 'round, and think I can find a place for the hotel as well on the shore of my bay.

Gregg:

I've built both kits for the JJJ&E. They are both very detailed structures and will become signatures structures on your layout.

The Idaho Hotel is an impressive structure with a distinctive corrugated roof.

The Banks Ice House is very intricate in design and the structure is finely detailed.

Stay cool and run steam..... 8) 8)

How does this compare to the old Walthers Cornerstone kit or the JL Innovative Designs one?

It's longer and skinnier than either of those, fits my location much better;
