I prefer PollyScale but it's hard to get in these parts

Incidentally, I have been tweaking an ATSF GP7u cab and short hood product. Prolly launch that plus a SCL/CSX GP16 conversion kit in Feb.

I know this photo below is of an ex ATSF unit and was wondering if this
is what you call a GP7u? If so I know you will make someone a VERY happy
man. Right mec_fan  :D

Thats great news Mark,
I'll definitely stop tweaking the cab of my GP7u then huh!
I've chopped the hood but if I can grab one of your cabs that'll be great 8)

I'll have to get about four of them eh.

Mark a GP-7u short hood and cab would be really cool, would like to build a three more of them someday. Here's one I built a couple of years ago using a GP-38 cab.

Anyone have tips on cutting the nose of the GP-7/9 shell down to the correct height ?
Also , has anyone tried using an SD-26 cab for a chopped nose geep ?
